From Making Money Online to Personal Development

Alright, I admit to slacking off on posting updates on this blog last year. I was wondering why that was. I’m sure it wasn’t because I hate writing. I suspect that it was because I tried to limit the type of writing that I do on this blog to topics related to making money online only.

There is nothing wrong with developing a blog that focuses on a specific topic or niche. But it can get boring. Imagine talking about making money online all throughout the year. Not only would it be difficult for me to come up with stuff to write about, but visitors would know how obsessed I am with making money. Right?

So based on this hypothesis, I have decided to add some variety into this make money online blog. Starting today, I will be writing about other topics that interest me — such as computers, gadgets, news, health, relationships, and others (that, I hope, you’ll find interesting as well).

With this change, I should be able to come up with stuff to write about.  At least that’s what I hope will happen.

I think I also need to reclassify the blog from a making money blog to a personal development blog. So that will be our theme from now on. Anything that we encounter or experience that affects to our personal development — be it how to use Facebook to drive traffic to your website or an iPhone app that helps you lose weight or a new revolutionary way to stay awake at work.

By the way, I welcome guest posts from anyone who has something to say as long as the content is related to personal development and the post quality is unique and of reasonable quality. What in it for you? You get your article published here and you can add a link to your personal website, if you have one. In case you’re a Google PageRank freak, Metahead.com is now a PageRank 4 site after the recent Google PageRank update.

If you have suggestions, leave a comment and let’s discuss.

Google Ad for Super Bowl

I saw this video ad during one of my infrequent YouTube loops. This is the only video ad of Google that I’ve seen and I have to say it’s one of the better ads I’ve seen in the past decade.

Great job on the part of the ad agency!
